Ethylhexyl ferulate

Ethylhexyl ferulate by Creative BioMart is a derivative of ferulic acid esters. It has high sun protection factor (SPF) and can effectively isolate the ultraviolet radiation within 280-360 nm wave range. It acts as an antioxidant that inhibits the activities of tyrosinase & DHICA enzyme. It has ultraviolet absorption and prevents oxidation. Ethylhexyl ferulate inhibits the growth of staphylococcus aureus and can diminish the use of preservatives after adding in cosmetics. It also offers skin whitening & spot removing effects as it prevents the formation of melanin. Recommended for sun-screening products and anti-aging products.
