Xanthan Gum. Keltrol® CG-T by CP Kelco acts as a stabilizer and thickener. It is a high molecular weight polysaccharide produced by microbial fermentation. It possesses suspending properties and shows compatibility in the presence of anionic, amphoteric and non-ionic surfactants & high concentrations of salt.
- It offers stability over a wide range of pH & temperatures and resistance to enzymatic degradation.
- Keltrol® CG-T finds application in formulating lotions, creams, face masks & packs, toothpaste, shampoo, make-up, mascara and eyeliner.
- It is also used in shower gel, body wash, shaving foams, suntan lotions, sunscreens and hair care products.
