Betafib® MCF

Beta Vulgaris Root Extract. Betafib® MCF by Cosum Biobased Products is a 100% bio-based rheology modifier based on cellulose microfiber. It is derived from sugar beet pulp. It upholds its performance over a wide pH range (1.5 to atleast 13), at temperatures up to 180°C and in presence of electrolytes up to heavy brines (>40%). It shows shear-thinning character with particle carrying properties. It is capable of stabilizing foams. It delivers high viscosity at low dosage levels and high yield stress. Betafib® MCF provides suspension of active materials (e.g. pearlizer, anti-dandruff and beads). It also offers vertical cling, skin feel, rinsability, emulsion stability and mattifying effect. Designed for various water-based formulations like o/w & w/o face cream, serum, body lotion, face cleanser, shower gel, scrubs, low pH cleanser, make-up remover, shampoo, sun-screen, after sun, sanitizing gel, mascara, shaving gel & soap, wet wipes, toothpaste & mouthwash.
