Xanthan Gum. Cosphaderm® X soft by Cosphatec is a high viscosity-yield thickening agent. It is a natural, non-GMO, vegan, transparent xanthan gum produced by fermentation of glucose or sucrose by the bacterium Xanthomonas campestris. It has great tolerance for salts, acids, high or low pH values and temperature.
  • It does not impact the taste, color or odor of the product and efficiently stabilizes cosmetic o/w-emulsions by preventing fusion of oil droplets.
  • It is non-stringy and non-sticky due to its reduced pseudoplasticity, resulting in the novel and extremely soft feel of the formulation.
  • It is free of BSE/TSE, dioxin, formaldehyde, gluten, lactose, pesticides and phthalates.
  • Cosphaderm® X soft is (EU) No. 1223/2009 complaint, Halal, ISO 16128 certified, COSMOS, NATRUE and Ecocert approved.
  • It has a shelf life of 36 months.
