Carbomer. Acrypol® 971 by Corel Pharma Chem is a cross-linked, water soluble polymer of acrylic acid with thickening, emulsifying and stabilizing properties. It is a synthetic and has high molecular weight. It produces wide range of viscosities and flow properties and stabilizes various emulsions. Acrypol® 971 is used in shampoos and styling products, skin care, body care, foot care and sun care formulations.
