It is an active anti-aging and anti-wrinkle. It is prepared by acidic hydrolysis of high molecular weight sodium hyaluronate originally produced by fermentation. It consists of hyaluronan oligosaccharides with a molecular weight of less than 5000 Da, where these short chains of disaccharide units occur naturally in the skin, and engage in a wide spectrum of biological activity. It boost the production of collagen, elastin and other components of the extracellular matrix by means of cells, thus contributing to the restoration of the basic structure of the skin and shaping its mechanical and viscoelastic properties. It is applicable in skin care products like for anti-aging and etc.
