Carbomer (Connect Chemicals) by Connect Chemicals offers strong suspending properties. It stabilizes emulsions by countering the coalescence. It thickens water phase but also alcoholic gels and offers the possibility to build transparent gels. Offers pleasant skin feel, transparency, short flow characteristics, high shear tolerance and is easy to use. It can be used at various pH levels and should be neutralized in order to enfold its thickening properties. Recommended for skin care formulas, toiletries, makeup, alcoholic gels and scrubs. Carbomer (Connect Chemicals) has a shelf life of 24 months under proper storage conditions.
