Cola® Quat PDQ

Polyquaternium-88. Cola® Quat PDQ by Colonial Chemical acts as a conditioning agent. It is a high molecular weight polyquat based on naturally-derived dilinoleic acid from a natural source of safflower oil. This unique molecule has no detrimental effect on viscosity when used with sulfates in shampoos and body washes. The molecule is hydrophilic and does not build up, yet because of its cationic nature it is substantive. It is a very safe polymeric conditioner. It prevents the fly-away hair and has superior wet comb properties. It is truly a green conditioning agent and is inherently biodegradable, causing no harm to the environment and contributes to an environmentally safe waste stream. It is applicable for conditioning shampoo, hair conditioners, bath gels and crème rinses. Cola® Quat PDQ complies with TSCA, REACH and NDSL regulations.
