It is an algal oligosaccharide complexed with magnesium and manganese. This unique active ingredient combines powerful antioxidant and free-radical scavenging effects with the ability to increase melanin production in skin. Its design is based on an original defence system developed using a brown alga and its symbiotic micro-organism. It also protects immuno-competent cells of the skin to protect it from the harmful effects of UV radiation. It is used in skin and sun care formulations. THALITAN is COSMOS approved product.
