Snail secretion filtrate. Poly-Helixan by Cobiosa acts as an antioxidant, exfoliating, regenerating, healing, nourishing and smoothing agent. It is extracted from a defensive liquid secreted by a mollusc (snails). The actions of Poly-Helixan are achieved due to its components like allantoin, proteins for smoother skin texture and luminosity. It promotes the synthesis of collagen and elastin. Vitemincs A, C and E stimulate collagen synthesis and skin renewal. Alpha-hydroxy acids possess exfoliating properties while mucipolysaccharides provide hydration and protect skin from external aggressions. Proteolitic enzymers help at protease/anti-protease balance. It is a hydro soluble product. Used in skin care formulations.
