Acrylates Copolymer. RHEOSTYL™ E-Light by Coatex (Arkema Group) is an EO-free polymeric emulsifier. It is dedicated to formulate thin emulsions with a light and fresh feel. It is an amphiphilic polymer that strongly adsorb at the oil/water interface. It develops thin & smooth texture without cheesecake effect and has a good resistance to electrolytes. It emulsifies all kind of oils with no limit in oil loading and used at low shear rate with a simple blade (1000 rpm) in cold process. It provides an outstanding water resistance in formulation. RHEOSTYL™ E-Light can be used to develop waterproof sun care products without any film formers. Other applications include skin care, body care and color cosmetics.
