Ethylhexyl Methoxy Cinnamate. Eclipsogen EHMC by Clariant is a highly effective UV filter. It has broad UVB absorbency and excellent solubilization properties. It is recommended to include a photo stabilizer when formulating with it, especially in the presence of Avobenzone (butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane). It is used in color cosmetics, creams, lotions and sun care products. Eclipsogen EHMC has a shelf life of 3 years.
