Aristoflex® BLV

Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Crosspolymer. Aristoflex® BLV by Clariant acts as a rheology modifier and a primary emulsifier in oil-in-water emulsions. It represents a high molecular weight acrylamidomethylpropane sulfonic acid (AMPS) polymer, partially neutralized with ammonia.

• In combination with other polymers like Aristoflex® AVC, it can be used to modify skin rheology & texture, improve pick up and to reduce the total amount of required thickener.
• It is cold-processable and allows emulsifier-free formulations.
• It shows compatibility with high amount of oils.
• It is indicated for low-viscosity formulations like lotions, wet wipes, sprayable sunscreens and hot & cold O/W formulations with an elegant & rich skin after-feel.
• It is used in creams & lotions, color cosmetics and sun protection products.
