Aristoflex® AVS

Sodium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Crosspolymer. Aristoflex® AVS by Clariant acts as a rheology modifier. It is a cold-processable, synthetic polymer used as a gelling agent for aqueous systems and as a texturizer & thickener for oil-in-water emulsions.

• It is a pre-neutralized ingredient which provides excellent yield value, corresponding to superior stability even in the absence of additional emulsifier.
• It offers excellent sensory properties, light & fresh skin feel and low degree of stickiness or tackiness.
• It exhibits broad pH range stability and shows compatibility with DHA.
• Emulsions formulated with Aristoflex® AVS provide favorable shear thinning effects and viscoelastic properties.
• It is used in color cosmetics, hair styling, sun protection products, O/W emulsions, clear aqueous gels, emulsifier-free cream gels, creams and lotions.
