HYDAMER™ CMFP

Chitosan. HYDAMER™ CMFP by Chitinor (Seagarden) is a film-forming agent with extreme purity. It is derived from marine shrimp shells through partial deacetylation of chitin. It prevents loss of moisture and elasticity. This active ingredient protects the face and body with soothing effects. It possesses skin compatibility. It provides moisturizing effect by forming a protective layer on the skin and increasing water-binding capacity. Also, contributes to firming the skin. It enhances sensory parameters and increases skin flexibility, elasticity and smoothness giving a feeling of soft skin and reduce skin irritation. It is compatible with alcohol (<60%), other polymers, propellants, salts, amphoteric, non-ionic and cationic surfactants. Moreover, it is free from preservatives, antioxidants and solvents. It shields UV filters from washing off with water and shows increases sun protection. HYDAMER™ CMFP finds application in formulating facial-, body & sun care products, aftershaves, facial cleansers and decorative cosmetic formulations.
