Sclerotium Gum. Actigum™ CS 11 QD by Cargill is a texturizing agent. It is a performant biopolymer to thicken, suspend and stabilize challenging formulas with a premium sensory experience. It is a highly efficient, readily biodegradable (according to OECD 301 B) thickener and emulsion stabilization aid. It offers sprayable very pleasant, shiny, smooth, slightly fresh and light body feeling properties.
  • It is a cold/hot processable, cold soluble, performant biopolymer.
  • It is obtained through a process of aerobic fermentation of sugars with strains of non-GMO Sclerotium rolfsii.
  • It shows high compatibility with electrolytes, surfactants & preservatives.
  • Actigum™ CS 11 QD is recommended for translucent formulas, serums, gels, lotions, BB creams, masks, cleanser, color cosmetics, sun-, skin- and hair care.
  • It is used in formulations which require a broad pH stability from low pH (such as self-tanning, anti-aging with AHA) to high pH.
  • It is Vegan suitable grade and Ecocert, COSMOS, Halal & Kosher certified.
  • It has a shelf life of 36 months.
