Hydrogenated Polyisobutene (and) Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer (and) Butylene/Ethylene/Styrene Copolymer. VERSAGEL® ME 750 by Calumet Specialty Products Partners is a mineral oil-free, gelled emollient. This ingredient provides enhanced fragrance retention and waterproofing properties. It exhibits extraordinarily good clarity, excellent thermal and UV stability, and versatile chemical compatibility.
- It is highly non-polar and thus, has a better affinity for low polarity materials such as fatty esters, low HLB nonionic surfactants, cyclomethicone, and other synthetic and natural emollients.
- It creates a film barrier for added moisturization, delivers superior stabilization and suspension properties.
- VERSAGEL® ME 750 is suitable for skin care products such as moisturizers, gels, oils, lotions, butters, creams, scrubs, balms, exfoliators, masks/peels, massage oils and serums.
- It is used in color cosmetics like lip gloss, lipstick, mascara, eyeliner, eyebrow gel, eyeshadow, face/body paint, blush, bronzer, foundation, concealer, illuminators and primer.
- It finds application in sun care products like suntan oils and sunblock/sunscreen and hair care products such as treatments, serums, oils, conditioners and styling products.
