Technical datasheet

Monoethanolamine Thiolactate 63% (40% TLA), (MEATL 63)

Supplied byBruno Bock- Last Updated on Oct 21, 2022

MEA-Thiolactate. Monoethanolamine Thiolactate 63% (40% TLA), (MEATL 63) by Bruno Bock acts as a restructuring agent. The reducing properties of the SH-group opens the sulfur bridges in the keratin structure of the hair. If this is done when the hair is wrapped around hair rollers, the hair structure is weakened. After rinsing in a second step the sulfur bridges are reconnected with an oxidizing chemical like hydrogenperoxide and the hair fiber gets its desired curled shape. Monoethanolamine Thiolactate 63% (40% TLA), (MEATL 63) properties allow the use in hair perms.
