Sarasorb EHT™

Sarasorb EHT™ (INCI: Ethylhexyl Triazone) by sarex and supplied by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in South Africa, Türkiye, APAC (excluding India and South Korea) and EMEA (excluding UK & Ireland) is the second-generation UV filter (280-320nm) that delivers the highest UVB absorption on the market. It comes in an oil-soluble, powder that needs to be solubilized in formulations and is photostable.

• It imparts a pleasant silky feel to formulations.
• The polar nature of Sarasorb EHT™ gives good affinity to the keratin in the skin and it can be used in formulations that are water resistant.
• Studies have demonstrated that even at low concentrations of Ethylhexyl Triazone in a sun care preparation can contribute significantly to the final product´s SPF.
• It has a shelf life of 3 years.
