Polytrap® 6035

Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Cyclohexasiloxane (and) Lauryl Methacrylate/Glycol Dimethacrylate Crosspolymer. Polytrap® 6035 by AMCOL Health & Beauty Solutions (HBS) and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in US and Canada is a moist, white, amorphous polymeric delivery system highly loaded with volatile silicones. It aids incorporation of cyclomethicone in broad range of products including gels and powders. It entraps liquid actives and converts them to powders.

• After application, the polymer particles adsorbs excess skin oils, thus providing extended use benefits such as extended color in lipsticks and facial make-ups, matt effect and shine reduction in facial cleansers, moisturizers and treatment products.
• Moreover, it provides favorable, long lasting sensory cue volatile silicone, elegance and luxurious after-feel.
• It is used in anti-aging, anti-acne, moisturizer and oil control treatment formulas.
• Polytrap® 6035 finds application in formulating lotions, gels, body- loose and pressed powders.
