Microsponge® N 720TRA

Microsponge® N 720TRA by AMCOL Health & Beauty Solutions (HBS) and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in US and Canada is a retinaldehyde delivery system based on the novel Microsponge® N natural microparticle. It provides sustained released retinaldehyde to anti-aging formulations. It helps to reduce its exposure to light and oxygen.

• It incorporates an antioxidant system that helps prevent degradation and supports easier formulation under typical processing conditions.
• It provides a ready reservoir for retinaldehyde, which is slowly released through a combination of friction and diffusion.
• It delivers retinol through sustained release, helping to minimize irritation without compromising efficacy, and is expected to provide similar results for retinaldehyde.
• It is a source of BHA- and BHT-free retinaldehyde and is not subject to listing under California proposition 65.
• It can be readily dispersed in gels, emulsions, and powders, minimizing the handling problems associated with many retinoid products.
• Microsponge® N 720TRA is used in skin rejuvenation products, cellulite treatments, make-up and foundations incorporating skin care benefits.
• It is used in daily moisturizers, facial and body masks loose and pressed powders, and hand and body lotions.
