Cellulose (and) Ascorbic Acid. Microsponge® N 720AA by AMCOL Health & Beauty Solutions (HBS) and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in US and Canada is a multifunctional microparticle delivery system designed to provide sustained release of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) in topical formulations. It helps to protect against free radicals and provides skin lightening effects in formulations.

• It enables simple, solvent free, alcohol free incorporation of Vitamin C in all types of personal care products, emulsions, creams, and loose and pressed powders.
• Its extended release of Vitamin C results in long-lasting availability at the site of action.
• It can be added in oil-in-water, water-in-oil, water-in-silicone and both anhydrous and aqueous gels.
• It is suitable for anhydrous products, make-ups, foundations incorporating skin-care benefits, daily use moisturizers and lotions.
• Microsponge® N 720AA has a shelf life of 6 months.
