Maquat® SL-5

Dihydroxypropyl PEG-5 Linoleammonium Chloride. Maquat® SL-5 by Pilot Chemical and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in US, Canada and Mexico acts as a cationic emulsifier, anti-static and softening agent. It is based on the renewable vegetable lipid found in rapeseed/canola oil.

• Possesses substantive, lubricating, detangling and anionic compatible foaming properties.
• Imparts non-greasy, silky skin feel as a silicone replacement and improves dry comb and fly away, while building volume and sheen, especially with colored, permed, sun dried and damaged hair.
• Also provides superior conditioning properties, making it a uniquely natural complement for use in hair conditioners and rinses, skin creams and lotions.
• It significantly improves wet comb performance, contains 58% biorenewable carbon and no animal derived ingredients.
