BELSIL® RG 90

Isododecane (and) Vinyldimethyl/trimethylsiloxysilicate Stearyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. BELSIL® RG 90 by Wacker and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in North America is a non-emulsifying elastomer gel that is supplied as a 20% active elastomer in isododecane. It is a crosslinked high-molecular weight organosiloxane polymer. It offers non-tacky films which improves transfer- and water resistance of cosmetic formulations.

• It can be formulated in O/W, W/O and W/Si-emulsions as well as in anhydrous systems.
• It shows easy distribution on the skin and gives nice and silky skin feel with hydrophobic film forming properties.
• It allows easy incorporation of pigments and adds cushiony feel to powder formulations like eye shadows.
• It undergoes thinning under shear stress and allows easy incorporation of cosmetic ingredients like pigments.
• BELSIL® RG 90 is used in skin care, lipsticks, foundations, hair styling products, conditioners, sun care, and lip make-up.
