Antaron™ (Ganex™) V-216 polymer

VP/Hexadecene Copolymer. Antaron™ (Ganex™) V-216 polymer by Ashland and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in US is a preservative-free film former and pigment dispersant. It helps to improve SPF performance and enables efficacious sunscreens across a variety of product forms. It provides water and wear resistance, offers waterproofing and a moisture barrier, and supports eyelash curling.

• It reduces the appearance of white residue in antiperspirant sticks and delivering transfer resistance.
• It is compatible with cationic, anionic, and nonionic ingredients, as well as with organic and inorganic sunscreens, silicones, carbomers, gums, iron oxides, and lamellar gels.
• Antaron™ (Ganex™) V-216 polymer is used in leave-on skin care, sun care and color cosmetics.
