Linum Usitatissimum Seed Oil. Acts as a conditioning and perfuming agent. It is cold pressed oil from the dried ripe seed of the linseed. Contains stearic acid 3.8%, palmitic acid 5.53%, oleic acid (omega 9) 15.1%, linoleic acid (omega 6) 16.84% and alpha linolenic acid (omega 3) 58.73%. It is recognized as one of nature’s richest sources of essential fatty acids: alpha linolenic acid (ALA), omega-3 essential fatty acid, and linoleic acid an omega-6 essential fatty acid. It is also a great source of lignans, vitamins and minerals. Used in skin care & perfumes.
