Calamus Oil (Botanic)

Calamus Oil by Botanic Healthcare acts as a fragrance. It is extracted from roots of calamus plant by hydro-distillation process. It also contains fatty acids such as palmitic acid and heptanoic acid, as well as butyric acid esters.

• It contains a variety of active compounds, including α-asarone, β-asarone, γ-asarone, calamene, calamenenol, calameone, α-pinene, β-pinene, camphene, p-cymene, eugenyl acetate, eugenol, isoeugenol, methyl isoeugenol, and calamol.
• It also includes azulene, eugenol methyl ether, limonene (dipentene), methyleugenol, asaronaldehyde, terpinolene, 1,8-cineole, camphor, α-caryophyllene, and several hydrocarbons.
• Calamus Oil is suitable for use in cosmetic applications.
