PURESIL™ BSG-200S

Dimethicone (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. PURESIL™ BSG-200S by Elkem Silicones is a dispersion of silicone crosspolymer in dimethicone. It acts as a sensory enhancer, thickening agent and SPF booster. It offers matte effect, moisturization feel, optically wrinkle masking, smoothness, non-greasiness and soft & silky skin feel with longer play time than cyclopentasiloxane grade. This ingredient enhances spreadability and reduces tackiness. It shows good compatibility with other silicone oils and can be cold processed. PURESIL™ BSG-200S is used for emolliency, conditioning, slip, optical effect, and stabilization. It is suitable for make-up, skin-, hair- and sun care applications. It is designed for concealers, foundations, make-up bases, cream blushes, cream eyeshadows, matte lip glaze and lipsticks. It is used for skin serum, moisturizers, anti-aging products, sun protection (cream & lotions), suntan lotions, leave-in conditioners, spray, and styling products. The shelf life of this ingredient is 24 months.
