iGel 940

Carbomer. iGel 940 by BIOALKEMIA is a high-efficient and low-dosage thickener. It is crosslinked polyacrylate polymer with strong moisturizing ability. It can be neutralized by alkali to form clear gel. It increases the yield value and rheology of liquid substances, thus it is easy to get insoluble ingredients (granola, oil drop) suspended.

• It is widely used in O/W lotion and cream as a favorable suspending agent.
• As the carboxyl group is neutralized, the molecule chain expands extremely and viscidity comes up, due to mutually exclusion of negative charge.
• It provides outstanding short flow (non-drip) property, high clarity and resists temperature effect to viscosity.
• iGel 940 is used in transparent hydroalcoholic gel, lotion, cream, hair styling gel, shampoo and body wash.
• Recommended shelf life is 24 months.
