Hydrogenated Lecithin. BergaSom Soy 75H by Berg + Schmidt acts as a natural emulsifier. It is a high quality lecithin fraction and is derived from soybean. It is a natural and fundamental part of all cell membrane. Here phosphatidylcholine is hydrogenated and during hydrogenation the unsaturated linoleic acid is converted into saturated stearic acid. Advantages of BergaSom Soy 75H includes skin protection (stabilizes the transepidermal water loss), improvement of stratum corneum and oxidation-stability. Used in the manufacture of liposomes, skin barrier, nanoemulsions, oleogels and formulations that is physiologically related to the skin, for cosmetic products. Recommended for facial care, body care, baby care and hair care products.
