Verdessence™ Xanthan

Xanthan Gum. Verdessence™ Xanthan by BASF acts as a rheology modifier and thickening agent. It is used to co-stabilize emulsions and thicken water- & surfactant-based formulations. It offers excellent viscosity boosted by electrolytes like NaCl. It is recommended for body care, toothpastes & mouthwashes, liquid soaps, shower gels, shampoos, styling, hair coloring, cleansing, face- and baby care products. It is well suited for clear, high-viscosity formulations with pH of >5.5. Verdessence™ Xanthan is a non-GMO, preservative-free, cold processable and Vegan compatible grade.
