Neutrol® MGDA

Neutrol® MGDA by BASF acts as a chelating agent. It is a readily biodegradable complexing agent for personal care applications. It is cold processable, easy to formulate and contains no preservatives. Suggested for shower gels, liquid soaps, shampoos, styling products, baby cleansing products, skin creams and toothpastes. Possesses an excellent ecological and toxicological profile as well as high temperature stability. It is an eco-friendly alternative to poorly degradable complexing agents. By forming water-soluble complexes with polyvalent metal ions including iron, manganese and copper over a wide pH range, Neutrol® MGDA binds metal ions very efficiently. Due to its sustainability benefits, it meets the requirements of the Nordic Ecolabel.
