Melhydran™ LS 4420

MEL Extract. Melhydran™ LS 4420 by BASF is an emollient, smoothing-, soothing- and moisturizing agent. It is a natural hydro-regulating complex, both substantive and emollient, which contains some constituents of its original products (honey and nectar). It contains oligosaccharides, amino acids, organic acids and mineral elements. It acts specifically on epidermal horny layer as a NMF-like and hygroscopic factor and hydro-regulator. It has a significant and a long-lasting moisturizing effect, reinforces the water-absorbing capacity of the stratum corneum, diminishes skin roughness, while improving suppleness, cellular cohesion, velvetiness, comfort and brightness. Melhydran™ LS 4420 is used in moisturizing care-, sun care-, after-shave, bath and shower products.
