Dimethicone (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. CareSil™ CXG-1104 is a high purity elastomer gel delivered in 5cSt dimethicone that is ideal for skin perfecting formulations. This ingredient brings a luxurious ultra-mattifying feel to formulations. It enhances soft focus attributes, increases cushion, delivers a silky and enhanced powdery feel without acrylics. It is a non-tacky film former that provides excellent coverage. It maintains texturizing balance i.e. adds structure while not compromising with spreadability. Offers increased slip, water repellency and shine.It is ideal for non-irritating and sensitive skin care applications. Used in color cosmetics, moisturizing, anti-aging/anti-wrinkle, skin & skin tone repairing serums, sun care (sunscreen, after-sun & self-tanners) and men’s grooming products.
