Jarplex™ IPS

Isopropyl Shea Butterate. Jarplex™ IPS by aurorium acts as a lubricating emollient, conditioning- and spreading agent. It is a very light, low viscosity, non-greasy, lubricating, hydrophobic spreadable and sprayable shea ester. It offers rich feel, soft, velvety & silky skin feel, less drag in lipsticks and prolonged moisturization. It is compatible with butters, oils, silicones, organic sunscreens and other esters. It can also be used at higher levels to bring more shine and moisture to the hair without weighing it down in hair products. Moreover, it replaces isopropyl palmitate (IPP) and/or myristate (IPM) and is suitable for cold processed formulations. It stays as a liquid at refrigerated temperatures (IPP solidifies) and quickly turns back to liquid immediately after freezing. Jarplex™ IPS is used in color cosmetics, eye makeup, lipsticks, foundations, powders, facial treatments, moisturizers, vanishing creams, SPF lip balms, hand creams and hair oils.
