Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate. Biopure™ GLDA by aurorium is NTA-free chelating agent and preservative-booster. It is bio-based, made from sustainable, natural, biodegradable and renewable raw materials. It exhibits excellent metal chelation properties, high water solubility and is used over wide pH range. Small quantities of Biopure™ GLDA added to formulation can help to stabilize the product and prevent discoloration. It offers dispersion properties and insures easy rinsing. It can replace EDTA 1:1 and can be used in cosmetics and personal care products as well as HI&I products. It is used in wet wipes and shaving products.
