Stabileze™ QM polymer

PVM/MA Decadiene Crosspolymer. Stabileze™ QM polymer by Ashland acts as a rheology modifier. It is based on a poly(methyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride decadiene) crosspolymer.

• Exhibits readily hydrolyzed & neutralized to form gels, water-clear for strong visual impact, readily shear thinning for pumping/pouring/spraying, high yield values for suspension and capable of emulsifying hydrophobic materials.
• It is a pseudoplastic rheology modifier that yields clear and aqueous gels that are shear thinning.
• The resulting gels have good shear and temperature stability.
• It delivers exceptional thickening, suspending and stabilizing capability in aqueous & non-aqueous systems, even at low use levels or low pH.
• It allow strong gels with quick break for processing, spreading and dispensing.
• It imparts exceptional skin feel and stability to emulsions.
• It is compatible with a wide range of ingredients including polyquaterniums and has limited compatibility with salts & some anionic surfactants.
• Stabileze™ QM polymer uses in formulating hair care (aqueous, hydroalcoholic & sprayable gels and novel stylers), body care, facial care, sun care (after-sun, self-tanning and sunscreen) products and hand sanitizer.
