- It is a linear, random copolymer that is formed by the free-radical polymerization of vinyl acetate (VA) and vinylpyrrolidone (VP), which are provided in ethanol, in ratios ranging from 70/30 to 30/70.
- It is used in the formulation of hair care products such as hairsprays, colorants, mousses, gels and styling lotions/creams.
