It is a highly stable, solid complex of hydrogen peroxide with pharmaceutical-grade polyvinylpyrrolidone. It is stable in a wide range of solvents and provides excellent substantivity, viscosity, bio adhesion and formulation thickening. It releases hydrogen peroxide on contact with water or saliva, resulting in brighter and whiter teeth. Peroxydone™ XL-10 complex is used in oral care products.
