PVP (and) Hydrogen Peroxide. Peroxydone™ K-90 complex by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a whitening- & film forming agent. It is a highly stable, solid complex of hydrogen peroxide with pharmaceutical-grade polyvinylpyrrolidone. It releases hydrogen peroxide on contact with water or saliva, resulting in brighter and whiter teeth. It is stable in a wide range of solvents and provide excellent substantivity, viscosity, bio adhesion and formulation thickening. Peroxydone™ K-90 complex is used in oral care products.
