ISP Captivates™ GL 7539 encapsulate

ISP Captivates™ GL 7539 encapsulate by Ashland acts as an encapsulated agent. It is a gelled polymer made through JetCutter technology, which forms a hydrogel matrix and can trap insoluble powders and oils. It has alginate/chitosan as wall. Polymer is composed of alginate, agar, carrageenan or chitosan and can also form wax beads with a very uniform size distribution. Whereas, beads are composed of pigments, clays, oils, insoluble vitamins, proteins, amino acids and abrasive particles. It is biodegradable and provides exciting visual impact, dynamic color release, novel delivery method and controlled fragrance delivery. It isolates & stabilizes incompatible ingredients and provides texture & sensory signals. ISP Captivates™ GL 7539 encapsulate finds application in formulating hair-care products (conditioners, gels, hair treatments, shampoos, styling lotions/creams and styling sprays (non-aerosol), mouthwashes, toothpastes, color cosmetics, face & body washes, facial-, body- and sun-care (after-sun, self-tanning and sun-protection) products.
