C13-15 Alkane. Neossance™ Hemisqualane by Amyris is a natural, non-polar, silicon-based, non-volatile emollient. It is derived from sugarcane and is fully saturated, chemically inert and non-comedogenic.
  • It is non-irritant, stable to heat, cold, oxidation and UV light.
  • It is a sustainable, renewable and biodegradable grade.
  • It offers even coverage, high spreadability, light and dry feel in antiperspirant.
  • Exhibits good combability, thermal- & color protection, anti-frizz and elongation features.
  • It is cost effective and has excellent cleansing properties.
  • It also exhibits excellent sensory effect, easy combing, manageability and pore cleansing properties.
  • It provides freshness, non-greasy, soft, smooth, non-tacky and silky feel.
  • Neossance™ Hemisqualane is suitable for antiperspirants, deodorants, leave on, personal-, sun- and hair care products.
  • Also used for conditioners, color cosmetics, lipsticks, foundations and make up removal products.
  • It has a shelf life of 36 months.
