It contains C16:0 palmitic acid (14-18%), C18:0 stearic acid (15-20%), C18:1 oleic acid (40-55%) and C18:2 linoleic acid (10-20%). It is a dark yellow to almost black oil. It expels pest like moths or mites. It makes the skin smooth. It is available in cold pressed form. It is used in animal shampoos to protect against parasites like flees or ticks, washing lotions, nail oils and creames. It is also used for making soaps.
