Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride. Vida-Care™ HPCG by Alfa chemicals acts as a conditioning agent. It is produced from Guar, an abundant and renewable leguminous plant that thrives in hot and dry climates.
  • It is water-dispersible naturally-derived cationic polymer.
  • The cationic functionality is added to provide substantivity to skin and hair to provide multiple benefits in rinse-off applications.
  • Hydroxypropyl functionality allows for clear aqueous solutions and improved surfactant compatibility.
  • It is hygroscopic, helping to deliver humectancy to the skin and hair, providing moisturization benefits and enhancing wet and dry combability.
  • With a medium-low molecular weight and low charge density, it is an excellent choice for delivering conditioning benefits to hair.
