Polyvinylpyrrolidone. Vida-Care™ C K30P by Alfa chemicals acts as a film former. It is biocompatible, physiologically inert and stabilizes emulsions, dispersions and suspensions. It is an adhesive polymer of low/medium molecular weight and forms hard, brittle, glossy, clear, oxygen permeable films that can be softened by the addition of carefully selected surfactants and humectants.
  • It shows pseudo-cationic behavior in solution and forms complexes with other materials via hydrogen bonding, dipolar and inductive interactions.
  • It is compatible with all types of thickeners and makes gels with excellent clarity.
  • It is thermally stable and can be used in hot or cold-process formulations.
  • It enhances mildness and foam quality in baby shampoos and bath foam.
  • Vida-Care™ C K30P can be combined with anionic, cationic or non-ionic film-formers to impart additional stiffness/crunch.
  • It is recommended hair styling products such as sprays, gels, mousse, creams and lotions, hair colorants, skin care, toothpastes and wash products.
  • It complies with Cosmetics Regulation [EC] No. 1223/2009.
  • It has a shelf life of 36 months.
