Sapogel® Q

Quillaja Saponaria Wood Extract (and) Saponaria Officinalis Leaf/Root Extract (and) Glycerin (and) Aqua. Sapogel® Q by Alchemy Ingredients by Elementis is a natural oil thickening agent. It can create variable textures from honey to thick balms and enables the creation of palm-free balm textures without wax. It is mild, safe, biodegradable and preservative-free liquid.

• It is a complete solution to gelling oils and butters to make rich smooth balm textures and is ideal for cold process manufacturing.
• It offers hydrating and moisturizing properties.
• It can be used at room temperature or at temperatures to 80°C.
• It is particularly suited for gelling vegetable oils, but most non-polar materials such as silicone and ester can also be gelled.
• It can form virtually transparent or semi-transparent gels.
• It is used in various balm applications such as lip balm, balm cleansers, body balm, scrubs, face mask, hair/beard balm and concentrated skin serums & creams.
• Sapogel® Q is also used in cleanser, hair care, massage gel and baby products.
• It is Vegan, Ecocert, COSMOS and NATRUE approved.
• It has a shelf life of 2 years.
