Clearthix® S

Cellulose Gum (and) Algin. Clearthix® S by Alchemy Ingredients by Elementis is a general thickener and natural viscosity modifier for water-based systems. It is a synergistic mixture of natural gums that produces a smooth, transparent gel which can be used on its own or in an emulsion. It creates non-sticky textures and the gels produced are moisturizing. It is non-pilling and non-tacky on drying.

• It can be used as a substitute for synthetic polymer-based thickeners.
• It requires no neutralization as it is stable to pH, heat, alcohol and electrolytes.
• It has a particular synergy with low levels of hyaluronic acid which gives it a shear thinning rich texture.
• It is cost effective due to low use level requirement in formulations and can be hot & cold processed.
• It is compatible with a range of surfactants.
• Recommended for skincare, hair care, serums, after sun gel, baby products, eye gels, masks and facial gels & creams.
