Dibutyl Ethylhexanoyl Glutamide (100%). EB-21 by Ajinomoto is a low molecular weight, oil gelling agent. It is derived from L-glutamic acid and is highly effective small molecular oil gelators. It makes nano-sized fiber networks in liquid oils and macroscopically makes hard oil gels. It imparts excellent transparency and non-sticky feel. In the case of viscous oils such as polyisobutene, it acts as a viscosity modifier producing viscous gels. It can also be used in emulsion systems to increase stability. It can be used to form clear hard oil sticks and clear oil gels. EB-21 is recommended for lip stick, sun care stick, stick type antiperspirant & deodorant, skin creams, lip glosses, eye shadows, mascaras, lipsticks, hair gels, hair waxes, hair creams, sun care gels and creams.
