Hydroxyethylpiperazine Ethane Sulfonic Acid. HEPES ULTRA PC™ by Advancion (formerly ANGUS) is a multifunctional zwitterionic buffering agent and effective pH stabilizer. It offers good water solubility, heat resistance, low cell membrane impermeability, and high stability against oxidation-reduction reactions and UV light.
- It can be used in combination with other ingredients to support the quality and performance of skincare and cosmetics products.
- It stabilizes functional acidic ingredients such as glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy acids, and beta-hydroxy acids in skin brightening/depigmentation formulations.
- It promotes the absorption of effective ingredients in skin care.
- HEPES ULTRA PC™ is used in skin care cream & lotion, toner, cleanser, serum, color cosmetics and sunscreens.
- It complies with US FDA, EU regulation no. 1223/2009, ASEAN 2008 Cosmetic Directive, and Brazil ANVISA Mercosur Resolution.
