Aminomethyl Propanediol. AMPD -ULTRA PC™ by Advancion (formerly ANGUS) acts as a buffering agent and stabilizer. It is a mild amino alcohol neutralizer for acid-functional raw materials. Fatty-acid soaps of AMPD ULTRA PC™ provides emulsifying properties and imparts desirable consistency and stability to emulsions. It reduces emulsion particle size and enhances rheological properties. It aids in pigment dispersion and improves dispersion stability. It is recommended for BB & CC creams, blush, concealers, eyebrow products, eye liner and eye shadow. It is well-suited for use in facial primers, foundations & liquid makeup, mascara, personal cleansing and sun care formulations. It is used in hypoallergenic cosmetic products, hair fixatives, hair dyes, exfoliating scrub, skin repair lotion and cosmetic creams and lotions. Complies with European Cosmetics Directive 76/768/EEC and 2008 ASEAN Cosmetics Directive.
